The Strategy + Design Shop thrives on being unconventional and mixing it up across various industries that offer a broad range of future-focused projects and design explorations - including but certainly not limited to your traditional "architecture".  We pursue opportunities to make bold ideas come to life via research and design.

 

We are seeking a smart and talented designer to join our team! You are a thinker - you are a creative with exceptional design intuition. You get excited about becoming a growing member of a fun team who is, simply put...designing cool shit.

 

You will:

​

  • Work directly with our leadership to help illustrate design stories for projects that aim to elevate the design experience in various industries and scales.

  • Help to undertake relevant research led by our thought leaders.

  • Focus on nontraditional project types but will also have opportunities to work alongside teams on “traditional architecture” projects as well.

  • Preferably be someone that we can invest in - your growth is important to us.

 

You have:

​

  • Confidence to fail quickly and grow.

  • Savvy to test ideas through quick study models in Sketchup. (Can explore other 3d engines i.e. Rhino)

  • Advanced rendering capabilities, from Sketchup to V-Ray is a plus.

  • Skillset to create parti diagrams very quickly, by hand sketch or in Illustrator.

  • The yearning to independently explore ideas and research, and translate into captivating illustrations/diagrams in Illustrator and InDesign

  • Excellent time management skills/ability to prioritize.

 

Ideally you have 1-5 years professional experience, however for candidates currently pursuing related fields of study...part-time or internships could be considered for this position.
